The custom designed game board displaying a map of Middle-earth was so realistic and engaging. We felt like we were truly in the midst of the epic battles between Rohan, Gondor, Mordor and beyond. It was intense and exciting from start to finish.
I (Bob) have to admit, I was a little intimidated by the 240 custom army pieces that came with the game. But once we started playing and strategizing, it all made sense. Each army piece represented different characters from the series like Elves, Orcs, archers and riders. It was so cool to see them all come together in one game. Plus, using custom event and mission cards added an unexpected twist to the gameplay that kept us on our toes.
After playing for hours (yes, it’s that addicting), I (Jill) can confidently say that this is a must-have for any Lord of the Rings fan.
