There are two types of UV lights – fluorescent and mercury vapor bulbs. Fluorescent bulbs are more affordable but have a shorter lifespan and may not emit enough UVB rays. Mercury vapor bulbs are more expensive but have a longer lifespan and provide a wider range of UVA and UVB rays.
